We own and operate 2 full rental properties in lovely Atenas Costa Rica. I could not have been happier with the services I got from Sebastien Legault. His work was first quality and done on time. I needed some driveway improvements and a storage shed built under the carport at my house near San Mateo, and he had crews working simultaneously to complete both jobs.

Later, when I had left to go back to the U.S., he came back and fixed all the doors which had been incorrectly installed when the house was built and were not opening and closing properly (he was not involved in the original work). They work fine now! Sebastien delivered on all promises and it was a pleasure working with him and members of his crew. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a good contractor.

I have observed first-hand three aspects of Sebastien Legault’s work. I live in a house designed and built by Sebastien. In addition to being beautiful to look at, it is highly functional, even to the design of the septic system. Every day I discover something new in the house that reflects the fact that considerable thought and care were taken in designing aspects of the house and in the high quality of the materials chosen.

I have also contracted with Sebastien to do interior painting and to construct a set of stairs on a steep hill. In both cases, I was presented with an estimate and timeline. The final work was done right the first time, on-time, and within the estimate.

Sebastien also served as a property manager for me during my first 8 months in Costa Rica. They were responsible for landscaping/yard work, paying my utility and other bills, and general house maintenance. Again, the work was professional, on-time, and done right the first time, with no hassles. I would recommend the services of Sebastien Legault to anyone.

We needed a new gate at the entrance to our property. It had to be similar to the gate on the next property and we depended on the contractor to accomplish this which he did.

We also needed a car port moved and a new driveway installed from the new gate to the new car port location. Because Sebastien Legault was there he made an alternate suggestion for the location of the car port and we were very happy that he did.

We suggested the materials for the driveway and left the design and layout to Sebastien and he did an excellent job. His contract described all the work that had to be done and left no surprises at the end. We requested a small change during the work and he was happy to do it for us. We will use Sebastien Legault again and we recommend him to anyone needing work done.

We’ve since hired Sebastien for several other projects and are still very impressed and happy with his work.

Sebastien Legault has recently (September – December 2013) built an outdoor swimming pool with solar heating plus completely remodeled 2 cabins providing patio doors, tiled floors, tiled bathrooms with showers and a veranda. The work is of high quality, on time and on budget.

There were some minor problems as with all building projects and he has been very responsive and is in the process of correcting the items I have requested. I have no hesitation in recommending Sebastien.
